Anyone got any tips on undoing the nut on the bottom pulley?

Put her in gear and shock it undone with a large hammer and punch. You can clean any burs when you have it off.

Yes, there is a puller that fits in threaded holes in the pulley hub but again, with a hammer and a soft punch/piece of hardwood, you can drive it off the crank without too much trouble. You need to keep turning the engine as you hit it a little at a time.
