New Performance Lights

Post by Matt 1944 N »

Hi

I have been looking at the lights fitted on NPSM tractors and was wondering whether the early thousand series type lights were ever fitted or if they were an aftermarket fitment and all of the majors used the same type.

Thanks Matt

The '000nd series lights were sealed beam units and smaller in size. They were never fitted to Supers. The Super lights were different to the Major. Super lights were slimmer to fit behind the grills and in front of the radiator.

Hello Matt,

As far as I know all type majors had the same rear lights, and the ones on the 000 series are completely different.
Kind regards, Henk

I would concur with Henk on that. But I have seen New Performance tractors with the later lights fitted. I suspect these are retro-fitted

The 1964/65 parts book shows only the earlier ones.
