Hi,
I guess I am new here

We used to have 2 fordson tractors. One was a 1956 fordson major, which I still have some pics of, and the other is a power major, year unsure.
The fordson major had been year nearly every day for 50 years and was pretty much .. wrecked. It had been driven for a while with the head gasket blown on it, lol. No it wasn't me

It was absolutely covered in oil. Really took some time to clean it. Anyway we got it all apart and got the head done on it, had news gaskets etc. Anyway we made the mistake of giving it to someone else to finish off (finish the engine off). He then basically ended up stealing it, after trying to get thousands of us for doing it. Which, well sucked. At the time I really knew nothing about how tractors worked, or engines really so I thought it would be in safe hands with someone that actually restored old tractors

Big mistake.
Anyway I still have a few pics of it if anyone is interested.
(wow we used to make stuff in england ..)
the head after being done
All nice and shiny
And that well was it
The other tractor I am slowly trying to do up myself. It too is pretty wrecked, the tin work especially but the engine still runs pretty nicely, albeit with a little smoke. I guess that's expect for a 50 year old engine. I might post some pics of that one in the future.
