I have a 1953 Major, I have piped it up externally for a log splitter but cant get any power out to make it work!!!??
Does any one know how to fix this problem??

Where have you piped it to? Have you got the lift arms locked down?

we have got it piped to valve to front of seat, dont know how to lock arms down.

You have to chain the arms down and stop them lifting to get pressure out of that port. Once that is done it should work.

You will also find that if your P R Valve on yout splitter is set higher than the one on the tractor, then oil flow will stop until you release the lift lever and bring it up again.
