Power going to dynamo
Just changed wiring lume on my fiefdom dexta and there is power going to the dynamo and starts heating it up, what could be wrong?

Hi. Had the same problem and it burnt out the dynamo. Turned out I had connected the wires round the wrong way at the regulator box.
Give it a check and get the dynamo checked as well. It burnt out the commutator in the dynamo.

Have you "Flashed" the Dynamo? If it is polarised (Flashed) the wrong way it can be catastrophic.
Knew a chap who replaced the Dynamo on a Ford Taunus (V4) and didn't realise the Dynamo rotated anti-clockwise. He burnt out several Dynamo's and control boxes before I spotted that the cooling fan vanes were set the opposite way. had to reverse flash the latest dynamo to it worked correctly!!
