I don't think that you can buy new arms for the Dexta

If you informed us where you are located it is possible that someone could help you by providing a pair of secondhand arms.

Gerry,

I am almost certain that I have a spare set, I will have to check and establish whether or not they are handed ie, right and left hand.

If you wish to include your e-mail address on this forum, you have to click on "profile" at the top of the forum page which will raise your profile page up on the screen you can then enter your address in the relevant box and confirm by entering your password.

The lift arms are handed only in respect that the Lynch pin pockets should be on the outside on the lift end. I know 'cos I got mine on wrong first time!

I also have a pair that are no longer needed. I'll eventually put them up here with the rest of my redundant kit.

I am lifting this thread as I am looking for at least one of theese (right hand) arms as well. Located in Sweden, but transport from the UK should not be a major problem. I have a Super Dexta

Agriline sells them for the Ford 2000, but would it fit?? One could ask them!

I asked for the crosshaft and they told me they didn't have any for the Dexta. I told them that the one of the 2000 looks quite similar on the page. So apparently it does not fit. A pity as I found a good one here in sweden.

But maybe somebody has a 2000 and can take some pictures?

If you look at the respective parts lists:
Follow the Fordson and NH parts links from http://www.vugot.com/
and enter either Dexta or 2000 as the 'Model', you can see parts for both tractors. It appears that the Dexta and Ford 2000 lift arms are different (despite Agriline's picture) :(

So suggest you try a breaker or keep looking on ebay - they do come up.
All the best,

Hi Nisse

I might be able to help you with a cross shaft if I am thinking the same as you. Unfortunately I live a very long way from you, but if you are keen we can talk further.

Regards
Mervyn

The 3000 and super dexta liftingarms have the same chape and lenght. But i dont now if the splines are the same.

I also need two lifting arms for super dexta but the one with the extra hole for the hitch.

You'll find these at ebay for incredible prices (do you have the rest of the hitch, or do you need all of it?) You might sell your dexta arms, when you have found the hitch arms :D

@Mervyn. I think South Afrika is a bit too far :-) I pulled out the crosshaft of my spareparts dexta and it was OK. not new, but it'll survive me I guess 8)

I found an arm in Germany but I consider it too expensive for my little dexta. I will wait for a better oportunity. At the moment I am checking the scrapyards in sweden.

According to the parts lists:
Follow the Fordson and NH parts links from http://www.vugot.com/
Super/Dexta & 2000/3000 appear to have different part numbers.

Thanks for the link! I will keep an eye on them.

Different part numbers between Dexta and 2000 wouldn't be so weired as Fordson became part of Ford :?:

But as I don't think the guys at agriline are stupid, they would have the arms on the dexta page if they were the same. So we say they are different :-)
